Frequently Asked quesions

What does Grande Experiences do?

We create, license and install large-scale immersive exhibitions for museums, galleries, science centres, planetariums and commercial venues, and we operate our own museum in Rome.

What space do we need?

Footprints range from ~20 sqm interactive fit outs to 2,000+ sqm flagship galleries, plus dome, planetariums and content-only options. We scope to your space.

Who can experience Fly da Vinci?

Fly da Vinci is suitable for guests aged 8 and up, with content rated suitable for all audiences. Guests can fly solo or ride side-by-side with a friend or family member.

Do you offer touring or permanent installations?

Both. Every experience is available as a touring season or a permanent installation; we also design and build permanent galleries and attractions.

Do you offer dome and planetarium versions?

Yes. All titles are available as 360° full dome experiences that run on existing dome and planetarium infrastructure. Van Gogh Alive and Dalí Alive360° are already presented this way worldwide.

Do you install and provide support?

Yes. We manage procurement, project management, installation, de-installation and ongoing support.

How do we license or host an exhibition?

Contact us with your venue, space and goals. We scope and quote, then design, build, install and support the exhibition end-to-end.

Which exhibitions are available?

Titles include Van Gogh Alive, Monet & Friends Alive, Leonardo da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius, Italian Renaissance Alive, Dalí Alive, Klimt Alive, Street Art Alive and Connection, plus Shared VR, dome content, planetarium content and Fly da Vinci.

Where do you operate?

Worldwide, with offices in Melbourne, the UK and Italy. Territory and exclusivity can be discussed for touring titles.

What is Van Gogh Alive?

A multi-sensory immersive exhibition by Grande Experiences that projects 3,000+ images of Van Gogh's works at large scale, set to an evocative classical score with aroma. It has toured 110+ cities since 2011 and is the most-visited experience of its kind.

Can experiences be presented outdoors?

Yes. Every Grande experience can be presented indoors or outdoors. From museum galleries and commercial venues to open-air activations using modular container and canopy structures.

Can you build something custom?

Yes, custom experiences built around your narrative and collection using projection mapping, Shared VR, interactive technology and collection digitisation.

Is Shared VR suitable for museums and science centres?

Yes, absolutely. It's designed as a high-throughput, repeatable attraction for cultural and science venues, available as an add-on experience with library or custom content.

What is Fly da Vinci?

Fly da Vinci is a premium virtual reality flight experience. Using a full-body flight platform, guests spread their arms and fly over Florence and Rome as Leonardo da Vinci imagined, in a shared moment of flight.

What is Shared VR?

Shared VR changes how groups experience virtual reality. Using six-degrees-of-freedom (6DoF) tracking, visitors move freely through a shared virtual world in real time. Together, on their feet, seeing each other rather than sitting alone in an isolating headset.
